I personally cut this piece of wood from a fallen Beech tree here at Sanctuary. I also crafted the stick in the form of a snake devouring an egg - much like the symbology found in the earthwork form at Serpent Mound in Ohio.
This piece is one of a kind, coated with several layers of clear polyurethane to prevent damage from exposure to the elements.
The egg is carved out of the wood, so that the entire piece is one.
The snake's eyes are inset pieces of black schist - also from here at Sanctuary.
In the spiraling sections, and in other areas near the spiraling, I've burned accent marks into the wood for texture and a realistic look.
I've also added a rubber tip to the stick for grip while in use.
